Chief Oil & Gas was pleased to be a sponsor of the recent “Wings Over Piper” Radio Controlled Model Airplane show, held in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. The annual event draws model airplane enthusiasts from across the country. Chief Gathering’s own Operations Manager, Steve Hamilton of Williamsport, was in attendance. Grant Kennedy, a Senior Mechanic for Chief Gathering, is also involved in Wings of Williamsport, the local sponsoring organization.

“Model airplanes have been a hobby of mine for a long time. It was a great community event and I’m pleased that Chief was able to support something that is of value to its employees and the rest of the community,” Hamilton said.

“We really appreciate Chief’s support of Wings Over Piper,” said Dave Proctor, organizer of the event. “They provided a significant contribution that really allowed us to improve the event. We were able to rent a tent which helped get our visitors out of the elements and we were also able to host a pig roast, which we hadn’t been able to do in the past. Their support really meant a lot.”

Chief Oil & Gas is committed to improving the communities where it operates through economic development while protecting the environment.
